New technology today

  One of the new and upcoming technology advancements is called Google Glass. Augmented Reality has already gotten into our life in different forms, but Google is taking it a step further with Google Glass. With Google Glass, you are able to view social media feeds, text, Google Maps, as well as navigate with GPS and take photos. A product that fits into a pair of sunglasses. It sounds handy but there can be negatives to it. Who is to say someone with this technology won't just go around taking unsolicited pictures of people they walk past, this could lead to stalking and other things. People may also be too busy focusing on their surroundings and create dangerous settings and situations for themselves.

Creative video

This is my creative video. I took the idea of creating new sounds like what people used to do and made my own sounds using daily objects that I found in my room. It was hard to get a good beat but in the videos we saw in class people in the past would just make one sound at a time, in my video I created different sounds and played them at the same time to make create more of a music feel to the sounds.

Here is the link to my flip book. It is supposed to be copying there video game fortnite where you travel around the map and try to place first out of 100 others. The flip book was hard for me because I am not very good at drawing and it was a challenge to create it. I had other ideas that I would have liked to do instead but once I had though of them it was too late and I was already far into this one. I ran into problems with filling up the page and I tried to adjust and make it bigger towards the end. I could not get the video to flip it only stayed sideways and the music playing in the background is the fortnite theme song.

-Autotune is seemingly one of Bad Bunny's favorite instruments and technology. He blends his latin background with rap to create a new wave of latin music that is spreading like wildfire. He has become very popular in recent months and autotune has helped him reach that mark.

-Kurt Cobain, one of the most famous musicians of all time used the fender guitar often in his band Nirvana. In multiple songs you can hear him playing the fender guitar with a unique sound, it added an extra depth to the bands famous nineties music.

-Marshmello is one of the hottest DJ's of the generation with his unique look and collaborations with big name stars he has risen to fame quickly. His digital audio workstation is where he creates and plays his music in a iconic way, in a genre that most music sounds the same Marshmello finds a way to stand out.

-For a group that has been around for a long time, swedish house mafia continues to be a top name in the house music genre. The keyboard is one of their main instruments they use when creating their music. The trio considers themselves electronic house music and the keyboard helps put them in that category.

xerox project

This is my Xerox project. It is showing the life an addict. All addictions start with your hands it is what feeds the drugs and alcohol into your body. My uncle recently passed away from an addiction with alcohol and I used that to create this project. It starts with the back which is a "family tree" of hands. It represents the one major problem which is fed by your hand and then leads down to smaller problems which are also the cause of your hands. The words around it are words and phrases that are used to describe drugs and alcohol and the people that use them. The side is representing the middle of an addiction because it is a heart which represents love given from the family and the "ok" sign which is them insisting it will be ok. The bottom on the back is the end of an addiction where someone dies the hands represent angels wings, the face floating represents the soul leaving and the hand is coming down grabbing them to take them away. There are more words on the front that describe life after death. The bottom of the box says "Hands feed addiction" because that is the main point in the project.

Performance Art Video

This is the link to my performance art piece. It is showing the ridiculousness of the green parties idea to "fight"global warming by limiting travel such as planes and cars to compensate for cows farting too much. The idea of "Eat more cows, they fart too much" is showing that the simple solution to this could be to eat more cows so there is less methane from their farts. Living in a place like America where red meat is a popular food choice it makes a funny joke out of the situation. I showed myself wearing a cow mask and doing everyday things because I am trying to dramatize the fact of what happens if cows live and keep farting vs if cows were consumed more.

what I think about robots

I think robots can have a helpful use in military. Robots have the ability to do the same tasks in military operations without humans ever having to get involved. This would allow for humans to not have to risk their lives and would prevent human error. People would never have to be near the battlefield because robots can be controlled from far away. Robots that are being used for daily life are not a good idea in my mind, I think humans as a population are getting lazy and with the addition of robots it makes people have to do even less. Robots are also being able to do jobs that humans do already which could take away jobs in the future and people will start losing money if a robot takes their job. I do not think robots are a good idea to be implemented into society, I think military use robots are a good idea however so that people do not have to risk their lives.
